Got A Ding? Bring It To Ed.

An open ding lets water into the foam. The longer you surf it, the more it soaks up, and a quick fix turns into a bigger one.

Ed Sakal handles board repair at Just Surfboards in Huntington Beach. Bring the board by the shop at 7573 Slater Ave, Unit H, any day from 11 to 6. No appointment needed. Ed will look it over and tell you what it needs.

Most boards are back in your hands in about 3 days.

What We Fix

  • Dings

Rail dings, deck dings, cracks and pressure dents. Sealed up so water stays out.

  • Nose and tail repair

Chunks out of the nose, a crunched tail, chipped tips on a fish.

  • Fin box replacement

Cracked, loose or torn out fin box? Ed can put in a new one.

  • Buckles and creases

A crease across the deck needs more than a patch. Bring it in and Ed will tell you the plan.

How It Works

  1. Walk in. Any day, 11 to 6. No appointment.
  2. Ed takes a look. He checks the damage and tells you what it needs.
  3. Pick it up. About 3 days later, and you are back in the water.

See a crack or a soft spot? Stay out of the water on it and bring it in.
