What Is On The Rack
Just Surfboards keeps used surfboards in the shop at 7573 Slater Ave, Unit H, Huntington Beach. The mix changes as boards sell and new ones come in.
You will find used shortboards, fishes, mid-lengths and longer boards, including boards from local shapers when they are in. The shop carries Sakal Surfboards by Ed Sakal and Ryan Sakal Surfboards, with Surf Prescriptions by Doc Lausch coming soon, among other shapers.
There is no online list of current used boards yet, and no prices are posted here. Inventory moves through the shop, so call 714-536-0505 before a long drive if you are looking for something specific, or come by during open hours and look at what is on the rack.
Condition
Used boards are sold as they are. Dings, old repairs, pressure dents and wear are part of a used board, and they are shown — not covered up in the description. Look the board over in the shop, pick it up, and ask Ed about anything you see.
If a board needs work before you want to ride it, Ed does ding repair in the shop.
Selling, Trading Or Consigning
If you have a board to move, Just Surfboards buys used boards, takes trade-ins and takes boards on consignment. Bring it in or call, and Ed will look it over and talk through the options. Terms are handled at the shop.
